An estimated 30 million watch Romney's speech

FILE - In this Aug. 30, 2012 file photo, Republican presidential candidate, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney speaks at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla. The Republican convention sent Mitt Romney into the fall campaign on a high note, thanks to Romney's strong acceptance speech, a diverse tableau of speakers and a fractious party unified in its goal of defeating President Barack Obama. But the convention likely won't provide a lasting boost for the Republican ticket, thanks to Hurricane Isaac, some high-profile speech flops and continued questions over how the party would tackle issues like Medicare and spending cuts. (AP Photo/Jae C. Hong, File) Ratings for the final night of the Republican National Convention, which featured Mitt Romney and Clint Eastwood, weren't a blockbuster.
